i just realised that i had already written an evaluation for Comedia del’arte.

first of all, before i start my evaluation, the excitement i am having right now from actually being able to access vineblogs is ridiculous as it rarely ever does actually work! wooohooo!!

Performing Comedia del’arte was completely different to all of the other type of theatre we have performed, and what i found most enjoyable. It was more light hearted, and alot more enjoyable to learn and to perform. Besides the few hangups in the group, and the noncooperation that everyone of us had somewhere along the line of getting the play ready, it did not detract from the final performance, although the lines weren’t perfected, and we had mind blanks and one of the characters did not show up, we managed filling in that spot and it didn’t stop me from having as much fun as i did performing it and those in my group I’m sure would agree.

We have done our performance peice of a Comedia Del’arte play,  we had prepared for the performance for a duration of a few weeks, but i felt that i was still inadequetly ready, due to peoples lack of involvment putting all of us as a group behind, which was extremely frustrating, and a huge let down. But all up, i enjoyed doing this section of theatre, it was funny and very enjoyable to do.

Right now in theatre studies, we are learning about Greek Theatre, tragedy and comedy of greek theatre and the structure of the plays. I am in the process of making my Folio for year 11 theatre 1 & 2 class. I’m slowely completing it.  Right now in class, we are currently making our own Greek Tragedy, which is due this coming week.
